PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Reporting to: CEO
Works as part of the Daisyhouse Housing Association staff team in
their responsibility for the delivery of the strategy, operational
plan, budget, overall performance of the charity. Takes lead
responsibility for the successful development and delivery of the
Daisyhouse Housing Association Fundraising Strategy.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that Daisyhouse Housing Association has the financial
resources to deliver on its mission and to ensure that challenging
fundraising targets are met, that our contractual obligations with
donors are adhered to with strong stewardship of these strategic
relations.
To work with the CEO to conceptualise, plan and implement the
Daisyhouse Housing Association?s internal and external
communications and play a key role in raising Daisyhouse Housing
Association?s profile, increasing awareness, understanding, and
support for our work.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FUNDRAISING MANAGEMENT -
* Implement and deliver Daisyhouse?s fundraising strategy in order
to achieve agreed fundraising targets.
* Maintain and develop the existing portfolio and future pipeline of
supporters and donors by providing excellent relationship management,
delivering results for Daisyhouse and our supporters.
* Effective use of marketing and communications strategies to
maintain and increase income
* Contribute to Daisyhouse Housing Association annual planning
processes advising on fundraising of the overall process.
* Refine Daisyhouse?s pitch and packaging of fundraising
opportunities to secure funding from new corporate supporters.
Identify, approach and secure new corporate partnership opportunities,
focusing on Charity of the Year partnerships, corporate donations,
sponsorship opportunities, employee fundraising, payroll giving and
gifts in kind.
* Develop existing donor relationships, ensuring that the
organisation maintains effective communications and good relations
with our donor partners whilst identifying new donors across community
and individual donors including major donors
* Identify and develop new opportunities for fundraising and
supporter engagement using digital channels, including but not limited
to website, Facebook, virtual challenges, email, etc.
* Improve promotion of Legacy and In Memoriam fundraising
opportunities
* Identify and engage with Trusts and Foundations
* Create professional and compelling fundraising materials for all
activities and effective use of marketing and communications
strategies to maintain and increase income
* Maintain a strong brand for Daisyhouse Housing Association,
including impactful and fit-for-purpose publications, functioning
website, and social media presence.
* Conceptualise and develop Daisyhouse Housing Association promotion
materials, including design, printing and online content.
* Manage the CRM data-entry, recording and reconciliation of all
fundraising income along with the Accounts Administrator.
* Ensuring all fundraising activities comply with legislation and
are properly managed and controlled
* Ensure that donor reports meet requirements and contracts and that
they are of a high standard and submitted on time.
* Monitor and report on fundraising activity to the Chief Executive
and the Board of Daisyhouse Housing Association.
* Keep the organisation up-to-date on changing donor priorities and
ensure that new funding opportunities are identified and applied for
promptly.
* Represent Daisyhouse Housing Association at meetings with donors
and external events.
* Assist and support the CEO to identify and recruit additional
fundraising personnel as the Fundraising Manager role develops
* Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required from time to
time.
GENERAL DUTIES AS A DAISYHOUSE HOUSING ASSOCIATION STAFF MEMBER -
* Adhere to Daisyhouse Housing Association policies and procedures
and contribute to organisational processes of policy formulation
* Perform other duties and tasks, consistent with the skills and
expertise, as required in non-routine circumstances.
* Travel as required.

* Participate, as appropriate, in staff forums and meetings.
* Carry out reasonable requests made that are within the broad remit
of the role.

PART 2: PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL ?
* At least 5?years? experience in a fundraising or business
development role, with a proven track record of meeting financial
targets and delivering strategic objectives and results;
* 3rd level qualification in marketing / public relations /
communications / business / finance or a
relevant?career?qualification;
* Fundraising experience within the charity sector in Ireland.
* Proven success in raising funds utilising a blend of the
fundraising mix, i.e., major donors, trusts/foundations, corporate,
community, individual giving, digital, etc. or equivalent;
* Ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the
organisation, to build and maintain positive relationships with key
stakeholders;
* Excellent relationship building and networking skills and proven
track record in creating mutually beneficial partnerships with
supporters;
* An ability to influence others with?excellent?oral and written
communications skills;
* Excellent?interpersonal and people management skills;
* Excellent?organizational and project management skills;
* Strong digital marketing and social media knowledge and skills;
* Event management experience;
* Proficiency in the use of fundraising databases, other relevant IT
packages and online fundraising tools.
* Strong understanding of the non-profit sector, the Guiding
Principles of Fundraising, Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG),
and GDPR
DESIRABLE-
* Experience of and ability to plan effectively at the organisational
level.
* Experience of budgeting and managing resources.
* Experience of developing and implementing media, advocacy or
marketing campaigns.
* Direct marketing experience.
* Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding the NGO sector.
* Use of a vehicle and hold a valid driver?s license.

weekend work may be required on rare occasions
TRAVEL & EXPENSES: Expenses and mileage for work related trips will be
paid.
PENSION: Up to 5% employer contribution pension after probation is
passed
